Kick off Summer with a Day or Evening at the Odd Market and Odd Nights at the Autry, a spectacular event for all ages – Beginning Memorial Day weekend, the exciting all day and night event is presented Monthly (third Friday’s all summer long) on two and a half acres in heart of Griffith Park – providing more than enough area for the kids to romp and play in the Southern Califorina sun. And, there’s a ton of Free Parking at the Autry and around Griffith Park or you could even ride your horse in, seriously. The event features over 200 booths, a full convoy of Gourmet Food Trucks, Beer Gardens, Guest DJ’s and Live Bands including the music headliner Fire Chief Charlie – An American Band from Chicago with creative and artistic members from around the USA.

The 13th Annual Friday Night Wine Tasting at Barnsdall Art Park – Unwind and enjoy beautiful evenings of fine wine and art at the historic Barnsdall Art Park as the sun is setting from the gated green of the West Lawn, located near the gardens of Frank Lloyd Wright’s newly renovated Hollyhock House. The weekly event features wines from Silverlake Wine presenting four selections of boutique, small production, artisan wines from wine country. Garden Grove Strawberry Festival | Friday – Monday | May 25 – 28
The 63rd Annual Garden Grove Strawberry Festival will be held Memorial Day Weekend and features Miss Garden Grove Ceremony, Over an Hour Long Street Parade with Southern California Floats and Marching Bands, Carnival Rides, Gourmet Food, Live Music Entertainment and Carnival Rides – The festivities begin Friday, May 22nd at 1:00 PM with games and carnival rides. On Friday, at 6:00 PM the grand opening ceremony commences when the mayor and Miss Garden Grove cut a giant strawberry shortcake and free cake is served to all! The Garden Grove Strawberry Festival 5K Run starts on Saturday at 8:00 AM as does the festival’s Celebrity VIP Breakfast at the Community Center for early risers (open to the public).

24th Annual Koroneburg Renaissance Festival – Now in its 21st year, the Festival again will bring history to colorful life when part of Crossroads Riverview Park in Corona, California is transformed into a hustling, bustling and a bit bawdy old world village. Topanga Days is an iconic LA County bohemian rock music festival. The weekend festivities are a mainstay event that embody any music lover’s. 43rd Annual Free Fiesta Hermosa at Hermosa Beach is the ”largest arts & crafts fair in Southern California”. Over 300 artists and crafters are featured, including painters, photographers, ceramicists, jewelers, sculptors, and handcrafters. The festival takes place every Memorial Day and Labor Day Weekend (Saturday, Sunday and Monday) in downtown Hermosa Beach, California. With the ocean as a backdrop, Hermosa Beach is an ideal place for a summer festival with temperatures of 80 degrees and balmy sea breezes. Help Keep Hermosa Beach green by riding your bike, and park in our guarded lot on the sand just south of the Hermosa Pier.
